Lowbatts,

The photo shown is vastly different from how the spot looks today, as I'm sure you know. Mush of the open areas are now wooded, and virtually all of the open field is unaccessable to detecting. I'll show you where TF and I have been doing well. But it's not easy, I'll tell you that much.

The baseball diamond is the area we've all seen people with Minelabs detecting for a while now. Must be a good spot, but right now the weeds are at chest level, though TF and I are noticing the beginning of a dieoff.

I'm down for the group outing!

I have the Ace, its super easy to use and I have found a lot of coins there with it.

Any of you guys scored any horseshoes, hatchets, harmonica reeds or pocket knives there? I've gotten all of the above in the past there, but I dig those overloads also.

i've got 4 horseshoes off the bridle path and i think we've all scored knives

I found more than a few harmonica reeds & pocket knives there. But I also found 24 of my 26 wilvers there.

bomber,murph,fiend,twist,lowbatts,rootmaster,dad of rootmaster,chi-town bruce,joe,general zod, goio, tman,dirtyjohn,gib,guy,bumpstck. like to see some of the FNGs.i know these kinds of hunts ain't for everybody,but its is a chance to swap stories,tips,trade info and meet some of the other guys in the area............did i mention beer?
