Got out real early this am before the snow storm hit.
Went back to the spot I was last weekend where I pulled my colonial buckle & crotal bell.
Not much in the finds dept except the drawer pull & what is probably a Heinz 57 tag, as it's aluminum.
As the snow was beginning to start I headed back and hit an area closer to my car. Wandered around for a bit along some stonewalls and got a decent signal, please et it be a colonial copper. BINGO!
Got my 1st State copper this season as well as my 1st since 2010. This is my 3rd NJ I've found.
Tried to take a pic but the camera's battery was dead.
I cleaned it by using dips in boiling peroxide & scraping with a tooth pic, gave it a final swipe with olive oil & she;s good to go.
