Last Night's 5 Boxes

Box 1-Skunk
Box 2- 1 90% ('64)
Box 3- 1 40% ('65), 1 clad proof (2006)
Box 4- 1 90% ('64) it was an ender! Pic below.
Box 5-Skunk

A weird 5 boxes. I could not believe that the ender box had that one silver in it. Like Omega recently stated, "Enders mean nothing". At least I think it was Omega who said this.

I agree Enders mean nothing when there is 4 or less. When you get 5 or more chances are you have a great box. I had a box with 3 Enders and that was all it produced. I had a box with 2 Enders produce 37 silvers. Some people say for every Ender expect 10 silvers or something like that but I disagree. I have never had that turn out. Like I said that might hold true in a box with 5 plus Enders

Well that would be awesome to get 10 per ender, haha, but I haven't had that happen either. This is not the first time I had an ender and it was the only silver in the box. I just got excited after finding the first 90% in the second box and thought maybe, JUST maybe, I had a small little collection dump. It was small alright, 3 silvers, but I am not complaining at all. I'll see what next weeks boxes bring.

Enders mean nothing lol. Statistically, one ender should mean 10 coins in a roll, and I Think it evens out to that eventually.

well at least u had a nice 2 to 1 ratio of 90% to 40% silver. It seems strange that so many people find enders in boxes that yield so little and sometimes nothing more. Ive very rarely found enders in my boxes.....even in my best boxes over the past couple of years. And that solid mwr halfhunter found was even more bizarre. U just never know what you're gonna find with this hobby. But I guess just as long as we're finding it that's whats important.

my last 10 silver enders resulted in 42 keepers and of that, one box actually had 15 keepers. enders don't mean a thing but are always nice to see.

Enders mean a lot... it means you found silver. I had no enders this week in 18 boxes... and I found nooooooo silver in any of them! At least I found a 36 merc in the 1 box of dimes I looked through. Baddd week

It works out if you have a large enough sample. If you took all of our enders on this forum for the whole year, I bet it would average out very close to 10 silvers found per ender. Think of those boxes where you found a few silvers with no enders. Those would bring the average up.

I happened to have a couple great boxes in 2012 where the average held true: 9 enders produced 88 keepers & 4 enders produced 42 keepers. Enders predicted the amount of silver exactly.

Those are sweet boxes. I only hope that one day my ender boxes would be like that, even with one ender showing. I'd take ten silver in a box, especially since I haven't had ten in a box yet.

I've never followed the ender logic. The halves I've searched, I've found about 2 or 3 double enders (40%ers on each end of one roll) and that be it in the box, a box with an ender and that was it, and the worst slap in the face (to me anyways) was a nickel box with 2 war nickel enders and that was it! So I say screw enders and just search the coins! :)

Enders absolutely mean something. Why? Math.

If there is silver in the box or anything unique "found a commemorative ender last week" then you have a 10% chance of having it be an ender.

1000 coins in box
50 rolls
2 coins showing per roll = 100 coins exposed
Resulting in 10% of box

Last 5 or 6 Enders I have gotten resulted in only silver in box. Best ender box last year was 2 Enders with 14 silver in box.
