I've been back twice now to the spot where I found the four Walkers last week. It is still producing some toasted silver coins, and this morning, a very toasted silver ring with a gold letter "D" on top.
Pics from my second hunt there - 3 silver Washingtons, 5 Mercs, 3 silver Rosies, a silver war nickel, a WWII general service button, junk ring with turquoise stone, and a thick silver St. Christopher medal...
And this morning's hunt - another Walker, 1942 Washington, 1 Merc, and a toasted silver ring with a neat script gold letter "D"...
While I've yet to pull a solid gold ring from this spot, I know there is bound to be at least one there. I was happy to see a little flash of gold today with the initial attached to the silver ring.
Happy Hunting,
Jim
I will keep hitting this spot when I can, and will post any more keepers.
