Last weeks hunt snares small ring. Maybe you can help ID a couple items?

A quick post to show what i found last week. Nothing special but...if every hunt produced spectacular finds, the thrill of finding great things would be lost.

So here is a picture of everything significant. Clad was found along with massive amounts of trash (Not pictured)
1 old ring, two wheats, some sort of pendent, a button, a whatcha ma thingy and a Merc

When i first dug this ring the glint of gold caught my eye.

Very quickly i realized it was not gold but gold plated instead.
This is a very small ring. Notice the lump on the side. A Repair in the works?

The next find was also interesting. 4 pull tabs and two nails came out of the hole before this button finally appeared.
Not sure if its old or not. Will get a picture of the back side later.

Finally...this strange thing. Any ideas what it might be?

Your strange thingy appears to be a bent cuff link missing what ever adorned the faces Above that appears to be the remnants of an enameled or painted sweater pin I would have taken this day Not spectacular but definitely a rescue

Check the cuff link for silver, it looks it

So something might have been attached where the holes are? makes sense. Thanks for the ID. Sorry about not getting a picture up of the back side of the painted button. It does have a full shank on the back side...i assumed everyone knew it was a button...my fault for assuming. I have added the word "button" to the description over the picture.
