Last year's finds- aka: my entire collection
The case on the left consists of percussion flakes, small remnants of shattered points, and a possible blade or two. The red one holds the real finds. The coin is an 1847 large cent, slighty larger than a quarter and used for scale. In the top row I have some broken tips and a couple of broken bases. Surrounding the broken pendant/ gorget at the twelve O'clock position is a Fox River Valley or Henschel. On each side of that are Madison triangles, the one on the left is quartz. Clockwise from there are a Monona/ Stueben, dovetail, Durst?, woodland side notched?, another dovetail, and I don't know what that little one at the nine O'clock position is called- a bird point?, and another Monona/ Stueben-- I think. The four in the second row from the bottom are a Goddard, Madison side notched, raddatz?- too much of the base may be gone on that one, and I'm not sure what that fourth one is- Etley? The bottom row shows a hafted knife with the tang broken off, a thumb nail scraper, and a broken scaper/ preform. I also have some "oh really"'s, "uh-huh"'s, and "sure ya did"'s but I'll save those for another post- Thanks
