Late 1600s Lima Cob

Got a few keepers today from one of my cob sites. Scored my first identifiable Lima Peru cob. Looks like 1685 or 95 possibly which would both be right for the R assayer. It was a 1 real clipped down to 1/2 real size too which is pretty common for me. Also got the big chunk of pewter/lead that had me thinking 8 real cob for a bit

I'll be in Lima Peru soon. Am thinking about bringing my Nox down with me but those beaches are horrendously dirty with bottle caps... Though the Peruvian women DO LOVE THEIR GOLD & SILVER.
It might just be worth it if I can get it there without a baggage handler stealing my gear. Congrats on the great find Toasted!!

I did find one years ago. My problem is my best colonial sites are mostly too old for Pistareens and the ones of the right age just dont have em I think most guys colonial silver collection is like 10% cobs or less. Mine is closer to 75%
