The coin isn't real...was really excited, but then noticed in fine print "copy"
The gold is 14k though! So not bad.
And could that other piece by any chance be a coin?

Well if they used real gold then what is a bit of silver going to hurt?

At home you might be able to see how fast an ice cube melts on it compared to say a clad quarter.

You could try a drop of bleach.

Or there are lots of kits you can purchase to test at home, or maybe try a jeweler.

They were doing that..making them out of the actual bars they found I think
