now I sort of feel bad about posting a possible fake on here to all you guys. Which puts everything else I have under suspicion. Not really into trying to defend myself over some pretty rocks(now or later) nor should I have too. I don't have the expertise to prove or disprove anything so am defenseless. I guess the expert ones who think they are protecting the hobby are just driving the hardcore collectors deeper into privacy. Too bad for us all especially the ones like me that truly know very little about what they have found and would like to know more.
Just want to say the piece in question was found in the dirt and to me was a fair find in a legal place. I did not intentionally try to fool anyone which obviously must happen a lot on here for some to be so fracking defensive and quick to dismiss things as fakes from only some photos.
To all of you that I have learned things from I say thank you very much and am sorry to stir up any animosity. Enjoy your hunting and have a happy safe year. Maybe we will meet again sometime. See ya!!!

no..wait..i do have an opinion.
the piece in question is beyond unbelievable, to the point of rivaling the Clovis finds in southern new mexico.

Hey hey don't go any where outlaw haha . I believe there are some that may think my finds are fake sometimes but I know they are not ... They might possible believe I can make a piece such as that hoe hahaha if I could however make something that nice then wouldn't i of made a 5 inch long fluted piece stay online my friend

You just stay right here with us, I appreciate looking at all of your artifacts. You have an amazing collection that I am even jealous of, so please continue to share your wonderful finds.

As I have said before I have had my share of critique from those that have handled a lot of different artifacts. We must all take in account that we can learn from each other, a grow in our own right the knowledge of what we find.

outlaw, please don't leave. I have enjoyed your posts and your artifacts. I really hope you stick around and show us some more of your finds.

Outlaw thanks for the learning experience.I believe it would be a shame to stop posting. This is something you enjoy doing!

Outlaw don't you go anywhere, if you do then they have won. I like your post and want to see more, nobody made anybody God on here. I take your story on the point as the truth and have no reason to think with all the other artifacts of your's, which have been some knock you naked finds, you would have any reason to post a fake.

Yeah, I have to agree--don't go anywhere. I've always dreamed about finding a point as long as yours made of an exotic material. I would love to find an artifact so fantastic that people will treat me the same way!!!!

Hope to hear more from you...

Steve

hey if matt rowe said it was an artifact,i think its an artifact 300 to 500 years old is still old,.you have a very nice collection, thanks so much for sharing it.you really do not have to go no where but out to get more artifacts and share them with us.

Awh come on now! Dont quit! You post some nice finds. You find a lot of stuff, not like some of these armchair relic hunters. Besides I'll miss seeing your Avetar with the pic of your ugly little dog.:laughing7:
