I tried coin roll hunting, but never saw much results. However, I do live in an apartment with a coin-op laundry machine, so I go through the rolls of quarters that I feed into it. 1.webp2.webp

sweet finds you almost never see silver quarters anymore

i know.. makes me wonder if its worth getting a box of quarters from time to time..

My average was about one silver quarter per $600 searched (boxes).
The yield by weight was close to the same amount of dimes searched.

I have done ok with silver quarters in the past. I would say fists average is about right. I was for a while getting 1 per box but then it ended.

Got a dateless SLQ from the laundry change machine once.
Must've been some seriously soiled laundry to spend that

About two years ago, went through $3000 of CWR not all from the same person. SKUNKED. Last resort if no other coin rolls available just to keep my sanity.

Bicentennial quarters carry a small premium on eBay - I usually save up a couple rolls & sell them.
Something else to pull if you can't get any silver

My wife brought home 17 solid rolls of AU drummer boys. I placed them on Craigslist for a month for best offer over face, no bites so I cashed out. I'm sure they'd get much more exposure on eBay.
