I posted this in the whatsit section and they said I should post here for more information. Any ideas on a value or rarity of this button?

The front says "LAWRENCE INDIAN SCHOOL" and the back says "SCOVILL MFG. CO WATERBURY." I believe it refers to the old Lawrence, KS. indian school which was later renamed the Haskell Institute in 1890. It was a government funded school which could account for the U.S. letters in the center of the front. Any more information on the button would be appreciated. Thanks!

The Lawrence Indian School, located in Lawrence Kansas. In the Alberts Button book the button that
you have found ID # SU 204.I looked in my CW era price guide but it is not listed. So I can't
give you a value on it.
However that is a very nice find,If you find the right person that collect Vintage School buttons. They
might be able to tell you what it is worth or offer you some good money for it.But that is all I can tell
you at this time,I will keep searching.
