Lead for Civil War Bullets?

Hey guys,

I usually post on the White's forum, but thought this would get more exposure.

drdave over at White's found these. Looks to be lead that was to be made into bullets.

What's your take on them?

Probably just the opposite, bullets made into something else. Lacking entertainment the soldiers would shape bullets into various things such as game pieces, etc. Usually bullets was one thing they had lots of! Monty

I Have To Agree With MONTY, They Look Like Mini's That Have Been Re Worked By A Soldier.Here Are Some That I Have Found. trk5capt...

Agree reshaped....could have been game pieces even canteen/bottle stoppers/plugs.... weights.....etc.
