Lead point

Found this at first thought it was a square nail the cleaned alil and see it was lead. What’s the purpose for this? I’ve seen where a bullet was made into a pencil. Not saying this was a bullet but was it used for a pencil possibly?

Maybe the stub of a lead pencil. Try writing with it.

My brother was a civil war re-enactor for several years before his death, He used a lead pencil to write letters for people. The pencil was made from melted camp lead just like they did in the civil war.
Granted, it could be anything but one thing it could be is a pencil. I have a few in my collection.

That’s cool. I have not tried writing with mine. I just put it in the display with the rest of the stuff I have found on that property. Atleast we know it works.
