lead seal

View attachment 773405 found this on my last hunt.I'm pretty sure I have seen one posted before. some help please. found what I think is a small Cal.bullet also. the lead has a US on it and a small bit of wire sticking out of the edge. its about half inch wide and close to 1/8 thick. thanks for any help

govt.seals used for just about everything they shipped,munitions,food stores you name it.smoe of the other members can prolly get more specific.good find
