Led Disk. Maybe canister plate for a canister round. Please help!

Found his disk made out of led. When I first found it I thought it was nothing until I was watching one of aqua digger videos on the Internet and he had something very similar. He said it was a a canister plate for a canister round, his is a little big larger than mine. There was no civil war activity in my area but there was a lot of revolutionary war activity. If any body has any ideas let me know

Pre-1900 military projectiles are my "specialty area" of historical relic study. Sorry to have to tell you, your lead disc is definitely not artillery-related.
