Let's see some more Arrowheads

I am working on filling up a frame of high grade arrowheads. I don't have far to go, just a little more sorting to fill this frame. This is part of my collection, not part of my finds.

Its tough now days to find some that are perfect in the creeks and fields. They always seem to have a ding some place. Nice frame

Location location location + time frame and good eyes! Nice looking frame Quito. Very high quality!
! Rock if you lived out there they would not have any arrowheads left! haha

Some of these you saw before. All personal finds, most now reside in friends collections.

Well here is 2 frames I have. I didn't find them but have checked to make sure they show mineral deposits. They are real. I really like them or they wouldn't be in frames. They are from a town 20 miles north of me, rock

That is a sweet display, got some nice quality points there. I guess I'm just anal about mine, I keep them together in frames from individual sites. It's cool looking at the individual frames and look at the differences in points and materials between sites.

Here's a couple of trays of personally found Triangle Points, Drills, and a Knife all from the same site. Other than the Drills and the Knife in the second tray these are all actual Arrowheads and used with a bow. The age of this site has been established from around 950 to 1650 AD. Quite a few Copper and Brass items were found there as well as Trades Beads. For size reference, the small ones inside the Drills are all under 1/2 inch long and the Knife in tray 2 is around 3 inches long.

Dang yakker you have been holding back on us. Great collection

Dang, those are some nice frames Yakker

Here's a tray of personally found Birdpoints. The center Point and the first 2 circles of Points are from the same site. There was a small rise right in the middle of the field we called The Birdpoint Mound because 90% of what you found there were Birds. There are quite a few others in that tray from the same spot.

Nice pieces Grim. Sweet display. About 20 years ago I had stumbled onto a 6 acre section of a 500 acre field that produced stone tools! I found 3 Axes, 3-4 celts, 2 Pestles and a Slate Hoe and only 6-8 flint points. Then my neighbor/hunting buddy got us kicked out because he was there during deer season and had a run in with the owner's brother, so the owner just told us to stay out!!
