A couple people have posted great photos of what they've found in 2012. I was thinking it could be cool to have one thread where people could post their finds from (in a few short hours from now) last year. After taking years off I started hunting again in November. All these were found near my house, on the coast of Mssachusetts.

For me 2012, was the worst year I have had in 30 years of hunting. Severe drought and increased hunting pressure fro others did not help. Anyway, here is what I found in 2012. I found in addition about 20 triangles that aren't pictured.

All of them are finished. But not many points

Like finding these thier not gamestones all are made from granite and used as tools as I find them in context with with ruffed out slate pieces my guess they were reducing slate down with them found 5 this season.View attachment 719297

Here are my best 2 of the yr. And one very large over strike flake made from the same material.

Here's some, not all. The majority of these came from a couple months during summer. Haven't been able to hunt much lately. Some in the lower right frame came from yesterday.
