Hey fitacom not fair you have a Predator III and a Bounty Hunter Jr in each ends of this photo I am sure if you have your boy with you hunting then yeah be fair to inlcude this, great lil detector..how many more do you have other then the Tesoro line up??

That's pretty much it. The predator my dad bought be 16 years ago and did horrible at the beach lol. My first tesoro was a vaquero back in 2004 and still use it regularly. My two and a half year old son tried to use the bounty hunter but almost broke it, so he needs more time. I'll probably end up buying the mojave at some point because...well...why not? Everyone is raving about them, so I have to see what the hype is about!

Nothing prettier than a brand new Tesoro. You got a heck of a machine right there.
Now you can dig aluminum at 14"!!!
I joke.
But with that coil I've heard great things about the combo.

Lmao... finally got another one after a few years without... I took her out last week and yes I dug some can slaw pretty deep. Haha.. Also dug some clad deep as well.. I like to run it supertuned.. coil seems to do pretty good.. I also have the 5.75 concentric coil. That's why I got the double d .

From what I have been reading, that 5.75 is deadly in the right hands!

5.75 concentric is a nice coil for sure... gets decent depth and in trashy areas it's awesome!!!

Nothing can beat the Vaquero or the Tejon in Tesoro's history with the 5.75" Concentric or Widescan and the 11x8 DD" overall for what they have produced for depth, seperation, etc in the soil/trashy land conditions you are contending with hands down... almost every time from what I have been researching. It will be interesting to see what they come out next that will beat these to "classics".

I have to admit since I've had the Mojave to look at in person, the black vaqueros are awesome looking too!!!
I do worry a little about their temp while in sunlight, but I'm sure Tesoro tested that.

Stoof can you provide some detail around your 7" shadow coil, other then it being the 5 Pin Delta Epsilon coil is it exactly the same as the Mojave 7" Precision coil?
