I keep them all, although I am young so I figure they should be worth more in 50 years.

I may have to sell some soon, just for space. CLose to 15,000 right now. But I'll sell 50s (56d, 57d, 58d especially) and probably keep all my older ones. :-)

Just wrap them up, and sell on ebay by the box full :o
Happy hunting :)

I know I've thought about that and wheats will be EXTREMELY rare like indian heads and who knows what it'll be like for indian heads.

Huh?

15,000 * .05 = $750.

And you'd be lucky to get 5 cents a piece. Do us all a favor and don't sell them as unsearched if you're gonna sell them.

I've got something like 25k wheats laying around, I should really move some of them but I'm a lazy guy... Actually a bag of them split open and there's a couple hundred scattered all over my carpet right now and I keep running over them with my computer chair... I'll clean 'em up Friday, hah.

Ya "unsearched " Lol!
Always check out the source. I've acquired a few bags that were clearly not very picked through... Best bag I ever had I pulled a '10-S, '14-D, '22 weak D, '26-S in AU, and then tons of BN, RB, and RD MS coins ranging from 1934 to 1958... Oh, and 22 IHC's, including a semi-key 1872. There was also a couple buffalo nickels in there, later common-dates.

Sometimes they really are unsearched. :)

Wish i knew what all that secret code was....

This guy actually doesn't claim they are unsearched, which suprises me! So maybe they are searched and he's being honest about it. Although he doesn't just say "These have been searched and there are no key dates in this lot!"

well the copper in a what penny is worth 2.3 cents, so i wouldn't sell for anything under 3 cents a piece, but for me, i don't think it is worth it to sell them for 3c each. remember, most average 10-15 wheats per box... if you think hard about that, you're only making a few cents profit... is it worth it?

Wait, this is from a wheat cent auction or a bag from the bank? I find it hard to believe it was either one really.

Wheat cent bag, 5k count, purchased for $200 from a guy who is friends with a dealer. Off the PCGS forums. Sorry, I won't give you the guys username, he knows to contact me when his buddy has bags to sell. :)
