Lighting Pics

I confess - normally I can't take pic of a bowl of fruit and it come out in focus. But found this photo app ILighting Cam that takes photos of lighting during a storm. First time I used the app I took the pics below. Both were taken after 11:00 pm at nite and about 5 min apart.

It's very hard to take pictures like this.. It's all in the timing.. and making sure you've pointed the camera in the right direction..

I love lightning shots over cityscapes. One of these days I'll get a chance to take some of those shots. As it is, I shoot all the time, but, I am always shooting what the "job" requires.
