Little gold, BIG scare.

I wish had the video recording the whole time. You would have maybe got to see me swallow my cigar. Our local dolphin Stinky decided to sneak upon me this morning.

LAWL! Them dolphins can cause one to give themselves a heart attack!
They sidle up to us, when we're lobstering in the keys, scares the pee outta me!
That fella thought maybe he could use your detector to find him some nom nom noms.

Wow that dolphin either wanted to borrow ur detector,or he just wanted u to grab his fin and swim out to a shipwreck he found and share some goodies.

I had a dolphin swim up to me one time in the Turks and Caicos . I saw it approaching I had my mask and snorkel on and thought it was a shark.
I think it was attracted by the threshold tone on my md.
That looked like some giant scoop you were using or was that some optical illusion wth your video angle ?

Nice finds. That dolphin would have had a brown hairdo if he came up on me like that. How do you fix your camera to take those shots? I love that crystal clear water and white sand. What a contrast to the muddy river I detect in.

When I was out surfing they used to come right by me, I mean next to me, and they
are huge and all muscle! I would be blown away when they made eye contact with me!

Nothing worse while fishing!
Get one of them guys, hanging out under your boat, as you throwing back the trash and under size fish.
We've had to crank up and try to run away from them, out there in them Boca Grande Pass areas! LOL!

Yep, I fish the pass often especially when mackerel are running and not one throwback can get past them. I used to feed an old one that stayed in Charlotte harbor near Fisherman's village but he was missing most of his teeth and didn't have many years left.

Awesome video! I would have ran on top of the water screaming like a little girl at first thinking it was jaws. What's the name of the camera you use?
Do you live in the caiman islands or just visiting?
Calm water is highly desirable for detecting.
