Little help please ID'ing a find??

The wonderful people on this site helped me ID an item a couple of weeks ago with no problem, so hopefully they can help again with another find? I found this in South Carolina in a field probably a quarter mile away from where I've been told a house ever stood. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks
