Little Old Lady from Pasadena

I was told years ago by Dale Sommers (Truckin Bozo radio host) that the star of Jan and Dean's hit
'Little Old Lady From Pasadena' was George Burns' wife Gracie Allen who was a leadfoot every day and loved to street race .
Any input ?

Wonderful piece of history and thanks for sharing it , buddie . Question still remains as to whether or
not Gracie was a street racer that might have helped kick this off .
