I live just north of Savanah Ga. in South Carolina right on the coast, we have gotten several hurricanes here over the years, it always floods somewhere and it never fail that some guys go up and down the streets in a Jon boat pulling a guy water skiing. LOL

One of my best friends lives in Oakatie. Nice area.

That's the general area I work and live in (Bluffton), I'm sure he and I have passed each other on the roads around here.

Just an FYI there's only one "a" in Okatie. pronounced O-ka-tee

Okatee Dokatee!!😅😒 Obviously spelling is not my strong suit. My friend is retired and moved there years ago to be close to his grandkids. He loves taking them fishing.

Almost all the rivers and many places around here have Native American names so spelling them much less pronouncing them is not second nature, the map apps never gets them right. :icon_scratch:
