Local Park Finds

Not much found today but I did manage to find a ring and in my book - that makes for a great day. OK OK so it isn't an expensive one. In fact I can't tell much about it at all. It was totally black and bent out of shape. I've managed to get it back in shape but you can tell it is about to break in two places if I mess with it much more. I've tried cleaning it but it hasn't cleaned up well either. Oh well, It is a cheap little metal ring of some type with a transluecent green stone of some kind. I also found another toy truck and $1.00 in clad. So all in all not a bad day at all. I'll take it. Sorry about the pictures. My scanner is down and the camera just is not doing a good job.

Cute little ring.
Looks like you bring the pull tabs back too.
Been wondering if I should save 'em or not - maybe slip them onto
a wooden dowel or something.

I pick up the pulltabs because the club I belong to collects them for a couple of different charities. I take in quite a few of those "bad boys".
