My eyes are not good these day but from what I see it looks like top quality stone with color and clarity.

sure found a large raw emerald on a beach in Florida between dunes foot and high water line ( legal beach area where you can keep your finds) many years ago — sent it to India for cutting and polishing got back this 95 carat monster beauty yes it’s 1715 fleet related

an emerald that size and transparent should have some flaws (clear crack like features) that can be seen at different angles.... can you send us some VERY clear pics? ... from different angles?

this is a 1715 fleet emerald....you can clearly see the flaws, as it should be, emeralds are notorious for this. Interesting too, it is more valuable as an uncut treasure, being a part of history, as a cut gemstone. I am curious why you had it cut?

Most fleet emeralds do not approach this quality...looking more like this...

I found a huge raw emerald about the size of a baseball when I was young between the high waterline snd fines foot area ( aka as the beach ) it w as s legal st that time to keep your finds from that area — however later on ad I applied for permits to go after the 1725 era recovery vessel that had dunk off shore the state refused me permission snd made the area off limits to metal detecting I held on to it for years trying to figger out how to get s permit by in vain — so I finally sent my find off to India for cutting snd polishing — what came back was the heart of the stone a 95 carat near flawless Colombian emerald that I am the proud owner of snd no it’s not for sale

I got it cut to give it to my wife “my queen” as a queens jewel for her was going to make a massive pendant but upon me showing it to her she said — it’s too big it would look gaudy— women no pleasing them sometimes —- so I got her a very nice ruby bracelet instead

Yah but did you find it in a raw state on a Florida beach and have it shipped to India for cutting and polishing and cut down from a baseball sized raw stone please note me finding this stone long as ago is how I knew that the shipwreck in Nassau sound between Talbot island and Amelia island was related to the 1715 fleet —after years of learning and digging thru old records I found out the truth a vessel was sent to the southern 8 1715 sites and on the recovery vessel much of the recovered queen jewels were sent to go back to Spain — a bad storm struck the vessel she was headed between Talbot and Amelia island to get behind the island for shelter when she got blown over a oyster bed and had her bottom ripped out

The wreck site is the sole wreck site marked on the 1769 plan of Amelia island by Capt William Fuller which was done 54 years later on after 1715

It was much much larger it’s been cut to its pure core
