We've had some heavy rains. Found it, lying on the edge of creek. I thought it was just a piece of slate, until I picked it up. Perfect!!!!!!!!

That's incredible.

now that is a nice one there for sure, wow.

Nice big blade! Cobbs? What state if you dont mind.

Beautiful! I just started creek searching this year and have found 3 nice points. I think it might be a bigger thrill to find artifacts in a creek than fields, because (for me) the odds are a lot tougher for creek finds...........or I haven't quite figured out how to do it right.

Its a outstanding piece.

Start by searching rock bars. Thanks

What a beauty! Nice material as well. I'm amazed at its nearly perfect condition--kind of rare for a creek find...It didn't travel far from its point of origin

Congratulations that is an excellent find!

Drool, drool, can I, can I have it? One of the best I have ever seen. Superlative flaking, not many out there of that quality.

Keep checking that area what a super nice find!

Imagine how long it took to make a precision piece like that. Being of native decent and having my band card here in Canada it would be a thrill for me to find an amazing historic artifact like that. GREAT find my friend.

What is the material? It looks like Knife River Flint but it is so hard to tell from a pic. That is not a Kentucky flint so if it is that makes it a really special find. That is a really well made blade.

Not sure what type of flint, but I've found some grayish type flint in some limestone rocks in the same area. Mostly jasper in that creek. Most of the points I've found in same area are made from jasper. Browns, yellow and white. Found some black type flint points. Strange! Probably brought in.
