I would be extremely happy to find a bat here. In 2012 the province where I live lost 95% of its bats. Until then I saw lots of bats flying around here every night, dozens of them. I have not seen one in 2 years. They are now an endangered species.

Hope your bat does well. I always thought they were sort of interesting.

We still have some around here. I see them most evenings around sunset.

Mosquitoes are en masse after the recent rains and heat.
The bat that bunked under the bedroom shutter for years is m.i.a....
We painted the badly faded shutters a week or so ago.

I've got looks to be 10 or so,hard to count um. I built them a bat house to spec. And they won't use it. They are fascinating to to watch late evenings.

Love Bats, very beneficial little critters. I put a Bat Box up in my yard a couple months back hoping to attract a group, so far no luck, but I was told it could take awhile before they find it and nest.
