I am wanting to spend 3 to 5 days on the Texas gulf coast with my family... and maybe just maybe get in a little time beach hunting.... is there anyone that has a cabin/house for rent or know of something affordable in that area for a 3 to 5 day period

thanks you very much for taking the time reading this and replying...

We usually stay at Casa Del Mar at intersection of 61st/Seawall Blvd - nice condo - beach - fishing pier across street - places to eat close by - pools - laundromat on site - nice place. Good luck and have fun!!!

If your going to Galveston there are a few spots with potential, but its not my place.. I dont think theres much sand on the sea wall right now.

There's plenty of sand on the beaches...after the hurricane, they dredged up sand from the far east side of the island and covered all the beaches. From 53rd street going east to Stewart and East Beach there is massive amounts of beaches to hunt. Don't know when that pic was taken but that had to be with a very high tide. Plenty of targets out there.
