Looking for info on a bullet and button....... rosette ???

Hey hey fellow treasure hunters. Just trying to get some info on these two thing, hope one of you smart people can help me figure these out. The US thing seems to be lead filled brass or copper and is 1 5/8 inches. And well just looking for anything on the bullet, age and whatnot. HH L8R

That's an everday .22 long rifle rimfire bullet. And the brass looks like a US Army Collar brass.
