Wow, I wish people would use more of the new $1 coins here in the States. I have only found one. I found an old 50 cent piece but that was land hunting.

Again, what beautiful scenery. I remember seeing a loon up in northern ontario (and the black flies, in which is another story). The geese, that's a sight none of us see down in Florida.

Hi Jud:
our Canada geese fly south, so where do they go, if not to Florida ?

Your mint or banks have to take all the $1 paper money out of circulation to make the $1 coins popular and work. That's why the Susan B Anthony didn't fly, they didn't pull the paper bill. You can't find a 1 or 2 dollar bill here anymore, just the coins, which are a bonus to us hunters.
We didn't like the idea at first but we don't even think about carrying a pocket full of coins anymore. It makes sense, coins last forever where as paper money has to be replaced over and over at a enormous cost to the tax payer.

happy hunting

Sorry, I meant big flocks of geese at least in New Port Richey, Florida. I'm sure in other parts of Florida they arrive, migration....I just wasn't thinking....having one of those blond (no offense to blonds) moments....I'm in the middle of moving and have a lot on the mind.

That would make a profitable hunt finding $1 & $2 coins. It would be even better with $5 coins. I can't imagine what the guys that hit the girly bars are going to do.....joking.

Again, beautiful pics, can't wait to see more.
