I have to rant about this.I get packages delivered by fedex and ups or usps.Usps is the only one i have problems with and thats only when a girl is filling in for the regular guy when he is off.He is retiring in a few months and she will have the route this is the 4th time she has lost a package i was expecting.I was supposed to get it friday looked online for the tracking it stated it was delivered.I went to the post office this am to check on it.The superviser said she would check with the girl. The girl said she put the package on my porch in front of the door. Why would you put a package the size of a ring box there when you could just put it in the mail box.So thats money lost.I contacted the guy and he said he would send me another one when he gets that part in stock again he would only charge me for shipping. Some of my neighbors want to go down to the post office and file a complaint.I don't want to cause a problem. What would any of you do? We have all tried to talk to her.She is nice. But she can't handle this..

Ouch, that sounds bad.

if she is losing packages she need to be recommended. If she can not follow order she needs to be let go. IF I kept messing up at work I would be looking for a new job. Plus what they get from working the post office she needs to do it right.

We sent time sensitive material, documents, via the USPS. Insured- tracking- all the bells and whistles.

It was sent from St. Petersburg Fl. going to Alaska.

Says it's scanned into the sorting facility, then nothing. For a week.

Then two...

They say they are still looking for it. Stop coming by.

File in a claim in 30 days.

Time sensitive material never arrived. Never went past the local sorting facility. "We sent them an email, so if they find it they will let us know." "There is nothing else we can do, sorry."

I'll never use USPS for anything important again. I've never had FedEx lose a document mailer, EVER.

Dunno about where you live, but where I do, if a package gets dropped at my door and I am not there to get it...somebody else will.

I bought my house in this area 4 years ago and if someone got it would be the first time.I have had packages delivered in the am and got home in the evening and they were still there untouched.I have had other neighbors packages come to my house and they have had my packages go to their house. This only happens when this girl does the route.

Now you could have a point there. She worked the counter and they put her out in the field. But all of us in the neighborhood have to suffer for that.I don't live in utopia. But it is pretty decent a burglary every now and then.Usually about 10pm you can hear a pin drop.Families and lots of retirees like me and everybody is involved in neighborhood watch.

I always get packages sent to 1304 T lane,I live at 1403 T lane.I usual take them to the right address and the person who lives there always wonders how they(FedEx,UPS,USPS),can't read the right address.

About 5 yrs ago this ups dude got busted in my area....had the whole ebay thing working like crazy. Even was selling cop badges that he stole. Neighbors knew he worked for ups cuz he backed his truck up to his garage door everyday for lunch.. it went on for awhile till finally getting busted. I'm not sayin', just sayin'.

I shipped a detector via USPS recently and will never use them again. I told them I wanted to ship, they set me up with a box and everything, charged me $59 and the box was broken in transit and the lower rod and bolts fell out of the hole. Luckily I had insurance on it, but never again.

Justdon, if she's not doing her job you and the neighbors have every right to complain. Maybe she doesn't like her new position.

I can't imagine that anyone that had a delivery route would consider stealing from it. They know the signs would all point to them. It is possible that there is a thief that is following her around. When I don't get a delivery and it shows up delivered, I merely go next store to my neighbors porch and pick it up. It is usually there. Frank...

Best to use something other than USPS…….seems to be increasing problems in all aspects and their costs are ever increasing...

If you talked to the carrier's Supervisor and got no satisfaction, go to USPS.com and file a complaint. You should then hear back from that supervisor. That complaint goes "out of house" and the Supervisor has to answer to those above.
Personally, if I had 4 packages that showed delivered and I never got them I'd be raising Bloody Hell.
God knows in 28 yrs. of delivering the mail I've made about every mistake there is. I've mis delivered mail and packages but I've gotten much more mail/packages delivered where the sender wanted it to go because of an incorrect address on the item. I'd think the odds of having 4 packages with an incorrect address are pretty long.
Plain and simple, there is no excuse for that many missing packages to the same address. Hope your delivery improves.

I have to say the other mail guy helped me recover 2 of the packages. The other was insured and i got paid for it.But as i said this problem is only with the one girl.

I filed a complaint online a few minutes ago.And thanks for the advice uglymailman. As long as i know this goes over her supervisors head iam happy with that.Because i think the supervisor was trying to cover for her.I don't think i will get anything out of it but i hope it will let them know in the future i will file a complaint.

Justdon. I've had the same problem a couple of times. Not sure what your neighborhood looks like, but in my case the
package was delivered one street over at the same address # as mine. That person had a bunch of packages delivered that day.
The driver just grabbed everything with that address #. I just got lucky when the person that got it was honest and brought it over
to me a couple of days later. Could be a rookie mistake.

Tommyb i agree but since the regular guy put in for retirement 6 months ago he takes off alot now and as i said this only happens when she is on the route.
