lost Yamashita gold of WW2 starts Tonight on History Channel 10PM Eastern

i had my son watch the video he got mad half way and call me a old fool ...i asked about the cyanide bottle he told me its either 2 things ...#1 its the brand of cyanide that i was drinking for the last 20 years beer na beer brand or #2 A tip switch type of device what uses KCN and H2SO4 in a bottle like at sing sing and other gas chambers ....he told me that eating cyanide is normal in the rural phillipines its call cassava he also told me that brown glass bottles have been used for beer since day one here by all brands ...he pointed out no electric near the site and never in a million years any air hose for CO he also told me that mold , algee , roots can produce toxic gas like CN or CO ....i wish he never seen the video because now he wants money for equipment like in the video and that means no more beer na beer i mean cyanide ...he told me y would u booby trap dirt below what they said was a possible tunnel ...he said most likely they got drunk and the CO got them or they fell off there crude ladder due to low air

yea I think their air Testers are So Sensitive that if the Oxygen level
drops a little Bit, It goes off.

Simply Osha type Legal Issues, for their Camera Crews, etc.
Make them over Cautious.

A Lot of Cry Babies out there,
And Lawyers Hovering.

and of Course Insurance Companies Don't want to Pay Out,
Just collect Payments.

& Don't get me started on %$#@&*^ Unions

I like the show at least people learn and see the philippines ...my son told me that site possible but if they find a chamber it might not be want u think he told me what was needed the most i told him fuel he asked me..... what that area famous for i said RICE....u cant eat gold or fuel maybe it was built to store rice ....the usa first projects in the philippines was to build aquaducts for rice fields and the train lines in the sugar cane fields (baldwin trains ) and the road and train line to baguio ....so never rule out that it wasn.t built by the usa could be a old well site ,,,most bunkers are usa made in the philippines ... 3 in dumaguete are japanese made some in davao and some in other cities with military airfields the pilot came first ... the japanese had maps of everything the usa did ...and most tunnels are spanish dug in cebu , negros and even some in luzon ...i guess everyone forgets a war going on i seen real war up close and gold the last thing that on your mind

Hi Since the end of the Spain American War the biggest treasure to be had in the Philippines was about billion dollars in the form of American Servicemen Pay Checks.Gambling , prostitutes drugs and booze . Watch out for war graves and unexploded ordinance . Or did the armies win by the amount of loot they could hide. TP

i want to add that the philippine american war is totally forgotten here but i don't remember any projects past baguio done by the usa before ww2 ...its only famous for rice terrace farming and i don't know anything about that type of farming or that area in luzon

Hi , Many example of Japanese military tunnels dug to hide and protect their army and ordinance can be seen on the island of Okinawa today .Different in Philippines just dug tunnels for leasure treasure .TP

Hi .The vast quality of the ground water from the Asia and Islands of the Monsoon Season ends up in the Great Artesain Basin in Australia . Powerful underground rivers could have washed the gold bars here. Better get a production crew and they can film me digging up the loot. Seems quite easy to make up a treasure myth TP

Even though it's Out of My Reach Yamashita has Always been Very interesting to me.

The fact the u.S. Killed him for Doing what everyone at War Does, (Kill & or Torture)
or train and order soldiers to kill.
only made him a Martyr to Me. and also makes the stories even more believable to me.

Hi Yamishita was convicted and hung for 'Command Responsibility' TP

Yamashita was tried for war crimes committed by troops under his command during the Japanese defense of the occupied Philippines in 1944. In a controversial trial, Yamashita was found guilty of his troops' atrocities even though there was no evidence that he approved or even knew of them, and indeed many of the atrocities were committed by troops not actually under his command. Yamashita was sentenced to death and executed by hanging in 1946.

How about Hanging some of these U.S. Generals For the Things Done Under Their Command ?

NO ! It Should not Happen !
Neither should it have Happened to Him !

I'm still Guessing it all had to do with Billions in Gold !

Yes in his defence he clearly states how does one man know what 250,000 men are doing at any one time TP

Jeff right yamashita got blame because of what happened with that crazy admiral that the usa blamed for the famous massacre of manila 200,000 civilians killed watch the real films 1945 and u judge .. tom will like this one ....its funny i notice a pattern every book of map story i researched it seems the colonel , admiral , general , LT involved got hung and if there no treasure story they didn't ...and another thing some of these guys gave up after the war was over for up to a month after ... only to be hung ( the hunters say they all used and killed civilians to move treasure which i never found iron clad proof of am still looking into one site this minute ) ...there one on u tube of 5000 troops marching to cebu and its 100% real notice all the gear and wounded they are carrying no fuel ..u have any idea how much a japanese light machine weight i do its way heavier then a browning 1919 ..

I made a phone call to get more information of this area in north luzon ....i want to point out it take me weeks to know more about that exact site ....but of past information from a long talk with local historian and this call ...the Banaue area... this is not the exact area in the video for sure maybe am totally wrong ... but what is show on the net for tourist is the pyramid like appearance photos of the terraces of cambulo from a ariel photos .... i know for a fact these terrace are 2000 years old and built by the chinese ...so that fact makes any thing possible ...i never heard of no pyramid outside of luzon 1 out of 7104 islands ...that rice has a 2000 yr history ...the japanese less then 4 years ...this fact raises new questions about that small pyramid seen in the video ...i want to point out that the bomb shelters in dumaguete negros are 4 sided pyramid shaped half of the shelter above ground due to the water table made by the japanese to protect the trainer pilots ...

I mentioned the rice terraces i seen and heard of in bindoy negros at a big treasure site were the hunters dug a hole that was the size of a very large pond but no one i talked to ever heard of it even local historians didn't know of it ... the chinese have a history here of 2000 years my late friend showed me his finds in negros which dated over 1000 years ....so keep a very open mind on what those small marker are and that pyramid ...and yes there are real ones i know first hand but no large treasure found

Hi , The concrete pyramid looks to be a part of a tank trap . Ever seen the WW2 photo of the Brisbane Line ? Are so sure its even Japanese? TP

tin pan i don't think its a tank trap but it could be usa made ....that marker could be chinese made my late friend Allen might of knew ...i hope they show better photos of it ive got no idea my first thought was ancient like thousands of years old ...other members here might have more ideas once they read all the threads

.... after watching the video its possible this is a real yamashita site ...

Hollywood cliff-hanger docu-dramas are very convincing .

Reminds me of this movie that was "all the rage" among us grade schoolers in the early 1970s:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_Boggy_Creek

I distinctly recall, emerging from the movie theater with my fellow grade school friends. Saying "I believe !!! "

I believe they moved much of what they looted straight to Japan during 1942. What purpose would it do in another country? Japan war plans were to defeat the U.S. in the first 6 months, high costs and our fleet destroyed they expected us to agree to their plans to control the South Pacific region. The admiral who lead the attack on Pearl Harbor knew if it went longer than 6 months, Japan would lose in the end.

TIREDMAN your correct i believe 99% of what u say ... after researching the 2000 ships there were a few just approx 40 that got sunk near land , damaged , trapped there sea route cut off , hospital ships that could of had treasure and its in the philippines by accident ...and don't forget u have spanish treasures and 2 chinese treasures that were found that are 100% real and Nasa find off of negros ...with 2000 years of shipping anything possible
