Lots of lead today but little brass.........

[Devonrex]

Tried to get another Confederate button today but it wasn't meant to be. Got 8 musket balls, a sharps, 2 pistol bullets, and several buckshot. The only brass was an Indian Head Penny and a flat button. Temperatures reached almost 80 today in Virginia. Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend and gets they're coil over something good! John - you've been spoiled lately with all those French buttons. That makes a day with just musketballs and flat buttons seem lackluster, but in reality that's a good day by anyone's standards. At least you seem to be hunting in a spot where you could pull out just about anything at anytime, so I'm sure more great finds are lurking in your near future. Good luck!
