I run across a lot of men's underwear discarded in the woods. Never the ladies.
In 2024 I encountered only 120 meters or so Into the woods Several ( used to be colorful ) reclining couches, 2 long bed couches of fabric( not leather) , chairs, rustic wooden table, and 2 purposely hung long black clothes made to resemble Scarecrows on opposite ends , 1 or 2 very low metal racks type of grills, empty gallons from water, bottles
All that in a large semi- circle, and not a soul!
I think people from those countless buses the Texas governor kept sending to Northern cities for quite a long time..back then
I think the Spanish residents from the houses across the Street had given them furniture and whatever they could to live in the woods.
I bet Even the Cops back then knew nothing ! Or preferred Not to know....
But the people were gone.
People gone, objects remain behind, sounds familiar??
