So after being tboned 2 weeks ago i borrowed mu cousins car to get out of the house(gone crazy.) I went to the old dump site i have been making visits to for the past few months with my bud Texas Yankee. it was cold and windy so i decided to walk around a bit. contemplating whether to take out the t2 or not. lol Well didn't take me long to decide of course. my first hit was this beautiful butter knife. Yes i love that word sooo much. STERLING. after that was a buffalo this one is in better condition then the last two but it still my find woohoo. only out for couple hours but it produce a 1.1 oz of silver and my new nickel. 0123141153.webp0123141153a.webp0123141220.webp0123141320.webp0123141544.webp0123141545.webp0123141555.webp0123141555a.webp

very nice knife! gz!

Finds are NICE, but a T boned car is NOT! Hopefully it was a soft hit!

A sterling butter knife is a really nice find ! and a buffalo is very cool as well .

thanks mr.b but the car is a lose. whats good was i walked away with just sore muscles.

yes Argentium. silver is always nice to find as well as the old time money.

Glad you did not get hurt, cars are allot easier to replace! I love your finds, that must be a great spot to hunt, should keep you in finds for a long time. Good work, keep on digging.

Nice find on the knife. It's about the same amount of silver as 6 quarters. A couple of weeks ago I found 2 forks about 3 feet apart and they weighed in at a combined 84 grams or 2.7 ounces. I was one happy camper.

Those are some neat surface find

thanks donin. saving all my silver. i wanna make a 5oz bar

Nice chunk of silver and a Buffalo! Congrats!

Glad you found a way to get out and detect. Hopefully all is going well for you.

Wow! I'm jealous!...I dug up an ornate metal salt shaker a while back, and through the dirt I saw the letters "ST" of the word "sterling" and started doing the happy dance, then I remembered that "Stainless" also starts with "ST". So I rubbed off some more dirt and...son of a :BangHead:.

thanks mr.b but the car is a lose. whats good was i walked away with just sore muscles.
Sorry about your ride, cars can be replaced but lives can't. I've been in the body shop business for 30 years. I've seen happy people and completely devastated families. Any wreck you can walk away from is a good thing!
