don't post often but I do check forum most days. I got lucky yesterday nd found a 1874 half dollar at a late 1800's settlement location. I will try to post a picture. It is the seventh older coin I have found at this location

A friend found this site for club to hunt. We have hunted it for about a year and found all kinds of relics, coins, horseshoes, and square nails. The cut in the coin was there when I found it. The site is now a plowed field that is no longer planted. We have plowed part of it once and are wanting to plow it again to bring more items to the surface. Shortly I will post some of the other things I have found
