Weather finally in the mid 30's. Decided to get out of the office and check out the community park tot lot mulch area, all grassy areas are frozen solid.

I went to another local tot lot near my office last month and found nothing, totally vacuumed clean. So was not expecting much however, Today's lot was great.

The mulch was actually frozen, so I was not able to extract a few targets and a couple went flying when the frozen mulch clod would break free after much prying.

First target was this 2 tone ring with stones, thought it would be junk until I zoomed in and saw the 14k stamp! Only my3rd gold item of the year, so sort of stoked and could also be real diamonds?? 7 tiny ones??

The chihuahua and other junk jewelry were fun.
Good luck out there!!

Congrats on the gold!

As the earring is 14k, it's quite likely that they are real diamonds.

However.. that's not a chihuahua! They don't have mustaches or spots like that. Here's mine:

It's a cat eat dog world...way to get out there in the frost for some glitter. Thanks for sharing and HH & HH all.

No reason not to think the diamonds are real , the"Omega" clip in conjunction with the post is a higher end indicator especially in 14 or 18k.

You need a jack hammer this side of Pa. Good job on the finds

Nice hunt with plenty of jewelry to keep it interesting! :occasion14:

Nice score on the gold and other treasures! Congrats!
The store are probably real. Maybe ask Santa for a diamond tester.

I had a chihuahua once. Had to keep reminding him he was only as big as my foot! ;)

Excellent walk!! WTG!

Gz on the gold! Love those short but profitable hunts!

Nice finds here in Michigan I love going out when its anything above freezing high 39s is good the only problem we got 8 inches of snow and it takes forever to melt enough to see the ground Thanks for sharing your finds nice Gold!!!!!!
