Pretty meager availability today. My first stop was a $305 dump so I could have some cash.

4 more banks in the area and I only managed to find 4 CWR and about $18 in loose halves. My last bank stop was my last beacon of hope for the day and the teller nearly dashed it. I ask for rolls of halves and the "big dollar coins" and she says "you mean the Eisenhower dollars." (not '?') I just got schooled. Maybe I played a little too dumb. Note to self. Moving on, she gave me two of the 4 CWR I found this afternoon and $9.50 in loose. Thank you, goodbye.

Well, I was delighted when the only silver coin I found today came from one of her rolls! A beauty of a 1968 Kennedy. I was ready to be skunked with the small lot of coins I managed to buy AND the first coin in the roll was marked!

With any luck I can hit one or two more banks on the way home.
