Lynx pics are from trail cam and others are from today's quad trip. Goggles .. month ago was quading up this very over grown trail with goggles on top of head, did not
notice that they were knocked off by branch, just lucky no animal packed them off.

Awesome shots. We saw a bobcat run across the road about a half mile from our condo, Not too far off US1. Not too surprising since we have wild hogs, gators, bears, and coyotes around here. have not seen the bears and coyotes yet, thank goodness.

I really enjoy seeing pictures of the landscape where people go to enjoy life ! There;s so much crime going on that a breif picture of "their time in heaven" is a mounment that we all can enjoy also !

Nice Spruce Grouse (Fool hen)
They weren't a preferred Grouse for the dinner table.
Getting a Dusky (Blue)Grouse was a feast.

A feast for sure pepperj .. when I lived in the Okanagan I looked forward to getting some of those big blues, here in central BC there are no Blue Grouse
and what Spruce Grouse we get are done up in a cream dill sauce .....

Excellent pics of the lynx and the grouse !!!! I have only seen one lynx here in Colorado, he walked right by me and my brother while we were sitting in the truck many years ago just south of Cripple Creek, Then he stood on a log and watched us for appx 5 mins and then disappeared into the hills.

Here is a banner year for grouse and rabbits and the reason why we are seeing more lynx, coyotes, fox and birds of prey. A great year for predators.
We often talked about what are the odds of getting predator/prey action on trail cam video ?
