Made it back out this weekend

It was so nice to be able to get out again and enjoy a weekend on the island. My brother and sister in law, my husband, and kids, all went and we had a blast. Lots of digging but here is the goodies. Yep it was super windy and again you couldn't get out past knee deep without getting slammed by waves.

the husband took the kids fishing while I detected so that was great, they didn't catch any keepers but a trout. They still had a great time. I wasn't the only one to get a ring either that weekend, my brother got a little silver ring, and his wife found a large gold plated puff heart. We finally had some guts not sanded in, that would of been good hunting but you couldn't get in them with the 5-7ft waves, surfing on the other hand was great because there was a lot of them out there, doing both regular and kite surfing. I tell you the kite surfing looks like fun, but I would be scared that I wouldn't be able to turn around and end up in Mexico or Cuba. I was watching them for awhile and those dudes pick up some real speed and come up pretty high out of the water.
