Magnificent Find!

Went to do a quick hit on my spot after work, unfortunatly the ice was locked in. However, there have been rumors of 6 Bald Eagles hanging around, well I photographed two. I apologize for the picture quality, it was from my cell phone.

I know your disappointment, Limit. I was on the river a few years ago in a johnboat with oars only and saw the greatest thing---two bald eagles come together midair in what I think was a mock fight. I saw a feather come floating slowly down from that and land in the water. I tried and tried to catch up to it floating down stream from me but couldn't. I saw the 2 birds a couple more times together as they would fly off downstream and then when I'd get close, off they'd go again.

We just have hawks as the largest birds so far. There are Eagles here but I haven't seen any so far.

I was standing next to a line of ever green trees, a sparrow zipped past me into the tree followed by a hawk 6" from my head! I was amazed it didn't 't hit me!
