:hello2: :hello2: :hello2: Had to give it a shot.....a lot of spots were still frozen but some spots were easy diggins! Managed to pull a 1903 V nickel and a nice 1905 IH along with a couple of wheaties and a few relics. The lead whistle was a cool thing to recover I thought. Oh man it was so much fun! I know its gonna get cold again so I took advantage of the nice day! HH all, Griff

Way to go! I was wondering if you got a chance to get out today. I found a soft spot as well :icon_sunny:

Love the whistle, and I'm completely jealous of the coins :headbang: Can't wait to see what you get once everything thaws!

Awesome finds! Great stuff from your yard :headbang:

Way to go J! :icon_thumleft: Sweet coins and relics. Love the whistle; does it work? I can't wait to see what else is hiding. :headbang:

Great first hunt with it! Congrats! I sure would like to see that whistle close up! Very interesting! :icon_thumleft:

Great finds bro! You didn't have to drive far for that hunt :laughing7: Congrats on the IH, V, Wheats and relics. Great first hunt results. :icon_thumleft: Sure there is plenty more in that big 'ol yard.

Great finds! Wish I could get out, we had a thaw, but now the wind is howling! Blew the cover off our 5th wheel! I too am looking to buy a Minelab. Got the ok from the boss (Gloria my wife) and just need to transfer some money to Paypal.Hoping for a great year! I have my goals list ready to be filled.

Congrats, sweet V and IH, that whistle looks cool!

I'm thinking you're gonna put that SE to real good use ;D

Got out myself yesterday( some ground was diggable/some still frozen,) was able to use my
Excellerator 8x6 coil on my SE for the first time. I kinda like it, but would like to try it
out under better conditions, was very windy- we even lost our power. Did find 6 wheats
and a Merc so I think the 8x6 did good.

Good luck,
HH.

Wow lots o finds J, that whistle really looks old, any info? Cool bass plug too! Nice old coins. Once you dig everything, I know a guy that could shave your yard with a bulldozer,
lol!!

no info on the whistle...only pretty sure its lead and kinda old.... funny D how I actually started entertaining the thought of having my yard shaved.....maybe if I was single ;D

thanks all .....hope we get another thaw soon....this one was short lived

Nice start to the year. Did you cover a lot of your front yard? How did ya like the new weapon?

Actually the front yard was still too frozen to dig in, but in scanning over it there was a ton of trashy signals, and actually pretty big areas that completely nulled out because of the iron. Next time I'll try it with it wide open in all metal mode or use that quick mask thing. Haven't had much time to play with it other than the factory settings. I do like it as a machine and am looking forward to getting more familiar with it. Thanks Jim, stop by if you're ever in the area.

I would but I don't know where you live? :hello:

Yeah, just post some GPS coordinates J and we'll all be right over!! :headbang: :laughing7:
