Major Dime Error

I hope someone can tell me what it is worth i received this back in change a while ago, as you can see head has been crushed and his eyes have been sunken in ( reminds me of Frankenstein) and it reflects the crushing on the back, also there is a piece of wire stamped into the front under the letter E in liberty thanks in advance kent

Looks like something interrfered with the strike. I don't think it is post mint damage. There is a man named Mike Diamond, he's past president of CONECA, a error coin specialist. He hangs out at Cointalk.net. Post a pic there under error coins, he'll be able to tell you more. A nice looking error to me. I'd like to have it to go with my other. Frankendime needs a bride.
