Everyone has some neoprene fabric laying around the house right? The fabric is used for divers wet suits , waders for fishing, gloves, temporary arm and leg braces etc... I buy the fabric in rolls to use for all kinds of outdoor projects , and it works GREAT! Neoprene is TOUGH, it is a wickable fabric, and lasts a long time.

Hint: Use the thinner MM size Fabric for optimal performance.

So here's what you will need:

*Scissors
*Household Goop Glue
*Good Quality Velcro


1. First I remove the cheap factory foam grip by gently by cutting it off with scissors or razor blade.

After it is removed, I lay the factory grip over my neoprene fabric, and cut the amount needed to make the replacement. Note: Cut a little extra Neoprene for the Velcro to be glued to.

3. I then take my velcro and cut it to size to be Gooped (glued) in place.


4. Glue the velcro in "blots' to the neoprene taking care to to get the corners.Note: be sure the velcro is placed so that when it is wrapped the velcro is on opposite sides of each other.


Let it dry, and you have a high quality, long lasting, COMFORTABLE grip!
