Maltese Markings....

Found a really neat solid, non magnetic maltese cross medallion at the bottom of a box of misc stuff I got at an auction. Center number is 3, then marked with four numbers on one side. Anyone with knowledge of numerical hallmarks?

Possibly a mold/model type mark. The picture is pretty blurry. Can you get a clearer pic?

The front looks like a ww1 medal but it looks a little too nice and slightly modern made for that.
