Hi all,
Managed to sneak a couple of hours detecting in on the weekend which I should not have really done as I'm still recovering from a severed tendon! You know how it goes though, the weather was sweet and my battery was fully charged and my detecting buddy was also dying to get out after himself being laid up for a while.
Anyway the three of us headed to the field that produced the hoard of George iii suxpences and shillings along with a silver goblet earlier this year. There has been heavy rain around here lately and it really does seem to have helped bring up the signals because we all had a great day of coin shooting!
I was using the Minelab Safari in all metal mode with -10 and +40 notched out which seems to really work for deep coins!
Here is the video for anyone interested

Great you got out but how in the World did you sever a tendon?:dontknow: ouch!

Hi, I sliced through my finger with 0.8mm sheet steel, second time in two years lol. It's like a hot knife through butter

Congratulations on getting out,
I'm glad you guys had a good day of coin shooting.
I really like pictures and rarely download video.

Stitches are out and my cut is nearly fully healed and that stupid bandage is gone, I can finally start properly start detecting again now :icon_thumright:
