manmade tool or a rock

I found this while bottle digging .It is very smooth and almost to round to be natural but if it a tool I have no idea what it was used for .

How big is it? I would say rock. I find them in the river that are perfectly round.

It is about 3 inches round .Could be a rock but I found it a long way from water on the top of a hill.

could be glacial drop if its not an artifact, not sure what your geological history is
