Well folks since March of this year(2013) thru November,I've found my assorted junk, paper clips, lots of bobby pins, snaps to blue jeans 1-cell phone, and about $15 in coins, nothing older than 1970 and nothing bigger than a quarter. Also found lots of Mexican coins, but today after I got off work I went detecting in a field behind my store where I work.I found allot of penny's-about 40 of 'em,all new,2012 and a couple of nickles, but I also found $20.10 in an envelope. It was half burried under the ground and covered with leaves. It had 4-$5 bills and 1-dime. So now my total is a little over $36 ,not bad for the Ace 250

Sounds like your staying persistent. I too run an ace 250 and it is a great machine. Word of advice the newer clad penny's will ring solid on the 1 cent on your machine. Older non clad cents, wheat cents, IH cents will bounce between 1 cent and dime or even ring solid dime. I try to leave the clad unless I'm bored and want to dig targets. Keep at it and you'll start hitting some pay dirt soon.
