Mardi Gras and an education

I had a bit to go out found this from Mardi Gras 1976. Got curious and looked it up and apparently they have been making them since the 60's with all different types made. Love it when I get to find something and then get to learn something about it.

That one made it quite a ways from home. I had a crown royal bag full of them that I just sent to a friend in Colorado. Every time I dig one they still get me thinking I have a big silver coin for a second....
